Obviously the star of the shot is the Caterpillar – HLW451C, however the young lad in the tank top and 1970’s hair is none other than Gary Kemp, who after that went on ultimately to find fame with Spandau Ballet, before playing one of the Krays with brother Martin. ‘Hide and Seek’ was shot entirely around Griffin Road area, by the children’s film foundation in 1972. This resulted in Syd Bishops & Sons getting a credit at the end of the film
